I have less then 2 and a half months till my first show and i still cant ride. I started doing physio yesterday and it was not to bad but I've missed 3 days of work this week already and it's only my second week of work. I'm trying to get my back stronger again but it hurts. I told my physio girl that I'm used to riding 5 to 6 hours a day and now it hurts just to ride half an hour. All the mucils in my back, hips and legs are tight and she found all the spots that hurt. So today i didn't make it to work cause just getting out of bed and walking up the stairs just killed. I didn't sleep very good cause every where i lied hurt more then the next.
I haven't been able to ride Pretty at all this week and i think Mars might be sore again he don't seem to be moving just right. i brought them into the barn the other day and gave them all a good brush down and coumed out there very tangled mains, might do that again today. Mars has a very long and think tail and Pretty on the other hand does not he's is thin but that's OK. and Yes i did Reno to, he's got a really thick main and tail .
Reno is my dad's other horse but dad don't ride him and Nat and Jen used to but not any more, he's also the one for sale.
Im cleaning all my show stuff and making sure i have everything i will need for this show year, that's if i can show.
Q = How do you get a rusty bit shinny again?
Sam - some bits are ment to rust. It is common with the sweet iron bits. It gives the horses something to suck on.
ReplyDeleteThat being said you can use: steel wool, fine sand paper or even vinegar will work to help remove rust.
